I think that would make sense if you the map wasn't properly calibrated. It didn't really disappear, but is somewhere else in the non-viewing area. I'd suggest playing with a map of your house area (example from Google earth), so you can play around with proper calibration techniques in Pathaway Map...

Calibrating using Google Earth:Image Overlay
Let's say you have a trail map in PDF format, such as this: http://www.sccgov.org/SCC/docs/Parks%20and%20Recreation,%20Department%20of%20(DEP)/attachments/41081santa_teresa.pdf And you want to get it onto pathaway as a calibrated map. The semi-easy way I found to do this was: 1) Change the map from ...

Hello Nate, This is kind of a late response..but since others read this too. I also use USAPhotoMaps as a great way to export big images (ie greater than what is on the screen). What I recently discovered, is that there is UTM coordinates listed in the filename.txt file of the export. It contains ju...

Mapaway "Jump to point"
When I choose Jump to Point...and enter a GPS coordinate, it doesn't go to the same map location that goole earth does.
Am I entering the info wrong, or does this feature not quite work on Mapaway?

How to set a destination
Looks like the concept of setting a destination is a route based one. So to go from where you currently are back to the start would be: ====== Tracking Method: - Options -> Tracks -> select the current track -> Edit Points - Select the first point -> Add to Route -> Navigate to selected point ======...

I'm currently just demoing Pathaway4..but until an answer comes in, you might want to try the free GPSbabel as a workaround.
It can convert from GPX -> Pathaway, and viceversa:

Set Destination?
Did you figure it out? I'm testing the Demo right now, and it looks like an awesome program. The main thing that brought me to pathaway, was I was looking for a tracking program that Screenblanks. I've installed maps and callibrated and it all works great so far. However, I still haven't figured out...
