Now's not the time to give in! Let's try and nail this on the head before you get any more disheartened. Lets take the GPS out of the equation, and do a quick test. I've uploaded a point database containing 1 point for you to import. This point is exactly on SJ 80000 58000 and was defined using WGS8...

Very strange, if you've calibrated a map similar to test.prc and have WGS84 set as datum within PathAway, then logically it must be the GPS, as that setup works for me. However, logically, what fergal_om says is correct too! The OSGB instructions for MapManager definitely say Datum=OSGB though :? Ma...

Sounds like your GPS12 is using the OSGB Datum, try setting it to WGS84 and then set a position.

No 'nudging' is necessary.

I don't get this problem, but then I use an application called PPCProfiles-Pro (Free) which sits on the Today screen (as a plugin) and switches between separate user-defined profiles e.g. Silent, Loud, Car, etc. I have created a GPS profile which turns on bluetooth, and sets backlight and device alw...

I must have an old version of MapManager then, as .JPRs with 'Transverse Mercator' do not load in correctly.

What is the latest version of MapManager and is there a separate link to it anywhere, or do I have to download and run the 'full installation'?

JPR files for OSGB maps

Hi Scott, Following on from a message posted somewhere else in this forum, re: JPR files for OSGB maps. Could you please confirm if the following JPR file is good, or is missing some commands, or possibly another reason why it doesn't give me the correct parameters when I open it in MapManager!? I g...

Hi there, If you download this PathAway Map... http://pathaway.com/forum/download.php?id=30&sid=ab3f7250d43fbe102cb7d585e510bfec ...and load it into MapManager, it should give you a good idea what parameters, etc. to set up. The reference to 'unique eastings' just means that all 4 of my calib.po...

V4.00.37 - Little bugs

Just a couple of little bugs I found while testing PathAway V4,00,37 1. On adding a note to a Point. If a '*' is entered, this and subsequent text is not saved. 2. On starting PathAway, The MyPoints database appears to always be deselected if it was selected in the previous session. PS: Are there an...

Hey Snake Do these reflect the right dstances for you? On mine the Dist to Dest and the Dist to Next show the same value... Or do I have to change something with the symbols for the WPs? Hi Roland, the way I understand it, when you are Navigating to a (single) Point, these two (dtd & dtnp) will...

Hi Roland, Don't know what bit of kit you're using, but if you have a joystick/rocker switch, the left/right will zoom out/in. (If the checkbox is ticked under Hard Keys: Enable Directional Buttons) In V4.00.30 it used to be up/down but I think I prefer left/right. I've got to say though even in the...
