corruption of PathAwayDBV.cdb when reaching 16MB

When copying data (e.g. tracks) from one db file to another (on storage card), the copy action, PA and the device freezes, when the target db file size reaches 16MB! The target db file also gets corrupted and all its data is lost!

This happens with WM6.1 and PA 5.00.33.

Storage Icons to big

In the route menu on an hx4700 WM6.1 and RealVGA the icons showing where the route is stored (internal flash or card) are at least twice as big as with V4, so there are even less routes listed. This is not good, cause the screen is only used as QVGA anyhow! (like a lot of other menu subscreens) I th...

Bug with adding point to a route

When a point is selected (new menu) and the map is moved before taping "insert" or "add to start/end", a wrong position is used for the route point. Especially with "insert" it is sometimes necessary to move the map, so that the 'next point' is correct.

Hi Scott! Thank you for your post and the information. I think, I already checked this page and could find (see?) any info on version 4.00.83 and 4.00.82 till now. I hope it hasn't been due to my stupidity or the caching of my browser. And because version 4.00.79 to .81 still aren't mentioned, I ass...

Release Notes for 4.00.82 of Apr 7 2008 ?

Dear Scott, Are there any release notes available for the latest version(s)? I only could find small hints what might have changed in some of the versions since 4.00.78 spread around in different posts in the forum. The new motorbike season started and I'd like to test the latest version, to be sure...

Dear Scott! After further investigation why background programs are closing down, i found, that the OS is removing them, when the 'program memory' is getting less than about 12MBytes (this is due to HKLM->System->OOM->cbVLow) My previous test where missleading. I didn't recognize the fact, that obvi...

System Setting on Hardkeys

Dear Scott,

The system setting on hardkeys (e.g. starting any hardkey mapped program) does not work until either :
- the pathway preferences are opened once
- a hardkey mapped pathaway fuction is used by pressing its key

how to reduce database size?

It seems, that the database file in "My Documents\Pathaway" doesn't shrink after deleting some Tracks/Routes or when moving them to another folders database file. Not even after 'rebuild database'. How to do reduce it's size without loosing settings and registration when deleting the whole file? Tha...

I'd like to confirm this with 4.00.46: moved complete database to the folder on the memory card -> tracks and routes are there, points are gone.

Building Route on Pathaway

Even with the latest PW 4.46 the 'Add route Point' functions are not working reliable. When have moved up and down some routpoints even 'Add route point to end', does not add it at the end sometimes. It really is very difficult to define a route by adding and iserting points, because it is not predi...

I'd like to confirm this. Same as before. This is happening with my hx4700 and WM2003SE as well. And with my Bluetooth mouse it is even worse! For Pathaway (and PW only!) I even have to reboot the device after standby to make it work again.
