Access the GPS input log file

Postby ukmpoam » Fri Jul 15, 2005 12:44 am

Hi

Does anyone know how I access the GPS input log file? My GPS is suddenly unsable to fix & I'd like to try & figure out what is going on.

Thanks

Andy.

After recording to the input log, you can do a HotSync.
Then locate the PathAwayLog.pdb in your Palm Backup folder and copy it to another folder (say C:\Pathaway).

Then you need to conversion tool PWDBConvert.exe. It can be downloaded at http://pathaway.com/convert.htm

After installing the tool to your C:\PathAway folder, go to your Windows Start menu and press "Run"
Type in C:\PathAway\PWDBConvert C:\PathAway\PathAwayLog.pdb. This will convert the file to a PathAwayLog.txt file where you will be able to view the NMEA stream recorded by PathAway.
