VGA and WVGA

Postby MartinR » Tue Oct 07, 2008 10:50 am

I am using Pathaway 5 on a screen with 320x240 resolution and I am satisfied with the new finger friendly buttons. But how large are these buttons on a VGA 640x480 or WVGA 800x480 display? Can anyone using such a screen post a screenshot please?

I don't have a screenshot handy, but on VGA the buttons are expanded so they are still "finger" size.

I've made a screenshot for you. The size of the buttons is perfect.

I can therefore infer that Pathaway is compatible with the new HTC HD ! :P
Isn't it ?

HTC Touch HD and PW5

Yes, this i a perfect match and you get a unbelievable good screen, very crisp and rich in contrast with a fantatic viewing range.

But a word of caution: In certain circumstances, PW5 looses access to the maps all of a sudden and they aren’t in no way any longer accessible. Reformatting the sd-card and recopy the maps is the only way I found to correct the situation and to bring the maps back. This does not happen in PW4.
