Import error when trying to load maps

Postby kaosmaki » Tue Jun 02, 2015 12:42 am

I have the latest version (6.01.07.00) installed on my CAT B15 Android device.

I tried 2 ways to import own maps.
1st: Using the Map Manager to load a png or gif file and define two known points. When trying to import the prc file in the cellphone it says "Import Error".
2nd: Since I thought I could calibrate maps on the device directly I selected "Maps/Import" an tried to load a JPEG file directly. Again, it says "Import error"

What can be done to get the map into PathAway?

Method 1 should've worked.
You can also just copy the maps into the <device storage>/PathAway folder and PathAway will automatically use them. The "Import" command just copies them there.

Thank you, Scott!

The Problem was indeed outside of PathAway :-)

I still have some problem figuring out how to calibrate the map. I'm still juggling around with the different types of coordinate schemas...
