Garmin GPSmap 60 C <-> Pathaway 3

I use a Garmin GPSmap 60 C and I want to transfer tracks/routes/waypoints from and to this GPS receiver. The communication via NMEA protocol works fine. But with the "Garmin-Garmin" protocol I can not establish a connection between my Palm an the Garmin hand-held.
With the program GPilotS I can transfer tracks/routes/waypoints from and to the GPS. So I am pretty sure that I have no hardware problem.
Any suggestions where the problem could be?

The Garmin 60C and 276C use protocols not yet implemented by PathAway. We will have support for these devices soon.

Palm OS build: 3.01b38

Simply download and install over your current version. This is a free update for version 3 owners.

Hi,

I tried the new version (3.01b38) on my Tungsten T5 and it didnĀ“t work.

I did a little test which may help to locat the problem: I connected the T5 via serial cable to my PC, where 'HyperTerm' was listening at the serial port. Then I tried to connect PW3 to the Garmin GPS handheld, but nothing was send out of the serial port of the T5 (ser0). I did the same test again with GPilotS there 'HyperTerm' received something...
