Program seems to run slower when I move tracks, routes, or points to the external card.

When data located on external cards are displayed, the responsiveness of the program and speed of display will be slower. It is recommended that tracks/routes/points that are used frequently to be moved to main memory.

There is much more extensive floating point mathematics required to plot on a projected map, or a map that required datum shifting. Hence, the program may run slower if you have a lot of points, or a very detailed track. Note, after the first refresh of an active track or route, the fast refresh should be restored.
