I have a Motorola MC70 and none of the special function keys are recognized by PathAway as a hardware key, and therefore I cannot assign a function to them.
It would be great if PathAway could listen for key presses and learn new key codes to trigger functions.
Ultimately I'd like to take a photo and create a picture point with a single button press. It would be great if photos could be geotagged too, but I guess that's a different suggestion. |

Do you mean "Store the Geotag information in the photo itself"? |

Yes.
I know it's possible to export a track as GPX and use that in another program to geotag photos by syncing with timestamps, however that's an extra step and requires accurate and synchronized clocks. Even being a minute out can occasionally create a problem with the type of surveying I do. Writing the lat/long in the EXIF block at the time solves all that. |
