Import Directories

1. Selection of not only single maps but entire directories would be very welcome in particular if you want import a lot of available maps.
2. A by setup configurable import directory

What a regress! Why do I have to import every single map????
Why isn't every .prc file in the Pathaway folder used like with the PDA version?
If at least the directory would be remeberd for the next import!
To climb around in the directory tree for every map single map is ridiculous.

What Schubi is asking for is the ability to add references to folders to include maps from (as in Standard and Professional) editions. This is definitely being adding in future Android products.

If you copy all your maps into the /SDCard/PathAway folder, then PathAway will automatically recognize them.

You can also put them onto the root/PathAway folder on an external SDCard and PathAway will find them as well.

Note that different Android devices have different methods of referencing the external card. Ie. /sdcard/external_sd, or /sdcard-ext, etc.

On my device all the maps copied to /sdcard/PathAway/*.prc gets listed in pathaway (data/maps), but none of the maps in /sdcard2/PathAway.

/sdcard2/ is the root of the externaly accessible (plugged) sdcard.

Both sd cards show up in /mnt as sdcard and sdcard2

We didn't have this /sdcard2/ card mapping for your device. We'll add it to the next build.

Mayby it is a good idea to check all entries in /mnt/..

sdcard
sdcard2

usbdrive

Or at least '/mnt/*card*/Pathaway' ?

But only, if this doesn't delay the implementation of free configurable paths
