Hello,

Sometimes it would be nice to have user defined guide lines in the map, for instance to help in defining a route to a distant point, or to have a direction to a specific point displayed in the map.

I consider a guide line as a point plus a direction that could be enabled in the map display. It could be obtained by selecting a point and a direction, or by supplying 2 points.
