I have an extensive set of charts made and calibrated for use with my palm pda.
Can these calibrated charts be used with pathaway for windows mobile or do I have to calibrate them again for windows mobile?

No need to re-calibrate for Windows Mobile (or even iPhone, Symbian, or Android).
The maps are compatible with all platforms.
