New features in PathAway 2.0 (May 1 2002)
- High resolution screen support for HandEra 330 and Sony Clie.
- Expansion card direct support (Palm m500 series and Sony Memory
Stick). Now put your maps and point databases on expansion cards.
PathAway will find them and use them directly.
- Customizable Dashboard, with full screen map support. Multiple
views, Dashboard overlays map. Specify the details that are important
to you. Even set the font size for easier viewing of selected
details.
- 4 bit (16 color) map support. Saves memory for maps while still
providing useful color. Requires Map Manager 2.0
- Easier Map Calibration on the Palm. New Nudge controls and Calibration
dialog make adjusting your maps to perfection easy.
- Alarms. Play audible sounds when you approach points, turns, or
get off-track.
- On-map Proximity highlighting. Easily spot closest point.
- Customizable Auto-point naming. Setup a prefix for points for
more identifiable one-click point marking.
- Search for points in point databases.
- More responsive Screen Scrolling.
- Fit to Window Map Display. Makes it easier to see where you are
in a wide area.
- Option to show all Tracks and Routes. See where you've been and
selectively choose routes and tracks on the map.
- Upload/download Routes/Tracks and Points to and from Garmin GPS
devices. Use the rugged device for capture, then download to PathAway
for storage, map viewing and management.

Notes on version 2.0
- Support for tracks and routes on expansion cards is not yet
supported.
- Individual Point beaming is not yet implemented.
- Transfer between Garmin devices testing has been done on
only a few devices.
Notes on version 2.01 (May 9th 2002)
- Fixed: Context menu tap away from menu to clear would sometimes
bring up another menu.
- Fixed: Fatal Exception on second time accessing "Get
from GPS".
